CARE

Your Dreamland bed will provide outstanding comfort for many years, provided you take good care of it. Your bed is probably used much more than any other item you own; moreover, it is not used evenly, as you habitually sleep and sit on particular areas. Therefore it is essential you maintain your bed to get the best from it.

HOW TO LOOK AFTER YOUR DREAMLAND MATTRESS

Slat Base
Timber slats should be no more than 70mm apart on a double, queen or king size bed. Slats should have a minimum thickness of 35mm or be supported by a centre rail. Do not under any circumstances drag the bed. If it needs to be moved, we advise our customers have at least two people lift the bed gently without the mattress.

Padded Box Base
Box bases can be sprung or unsprung and should have at least seven legs or castors. They usually have a metal frame and sometimes storage drawers.

Platform Bed
A solid wooden base is most typical with no springs or slats usually it has ventilation holes in the base.

Use a mattress protector and air your bed regularly
To help keep your mattress clean and dry we recommend using a quality mattress protector, regularly air the mattress with bedding removed and avoid direct sunlight. You can also lightly vacuum your mattress from time to time.

Spot clean with a damp cloth
You can clean your mattress with  damp cloth If it becomes stained or marked and allow it to dry before remaking the bed. Do not use cleaning fluids as they could damage the mattress.

Keep the labels intact
For warranty purposes do not remove any of the mattress labels.
Do not use the mattress handles to lift or carry they are solely for the use of positioning the mattress on the base.

Instructions on rotating your Dreamland mattress
Single-sided mattress: can be rotated but not turned, for the first three months we recommend you rotate your mattress every two weeks. After that, rotate once a month. Rotate the mattress horizontally to the left by pushing at opposite corners. Do not rotate the mattress upside down. Keep rotating until the left top corner at the foot end of the bed and right down corner at the head end. Use the handles to adjust the mattress on the base. Rotation completed.
